Bulgaria and Russia on September 8-9 in Moscow to hold a new round of negotiations on the construction of the Burgas-Alexandroupolis.

Bulgaria and Russia on September 8-9 in Moscow to hold a new round of negotiations on the construction of the Burgas-Alexandroupolis. Bulgarian delegation headed by Vice-Premier and Finance Minister of Bulgaria Simeon Dyankov, transmits the correspondent UKRINFORM.

In Moscow, the Bulgarian delegation will be acquainted with the project designed and run, of which must be lined pipe. Will be discussed financing the project.

Russia, Bulgaria and Greece signed an intergovernmental agreement on the pipeline in 2007. For its implementation in February 2008 was registered joint venture company Trans-Balkan Pipeline BV Under the agreement, Russia in this company owned 51 percent of capital. Bulgaria and Greece equally share 49 percent of the shares.

At the end of July this year, Bulgaria and Russia agreed that the Bulgarian government will allocate 6.5 million to pay operating costs for the pipeline project.

But the issue of Bulgaria's participation in the project is still under question, as yet not prepared to expert assessment of environmental safety of the pipeline. She insists the people of Bulgarian regions, which will be the future route of the pipeline.
