Black Sea Forum on Renewable Energy to hold 1st edition

The Black Sea Forum on Renewable Energy is planned to be the first in a series of annual such events due to be organized in other Black Sea riparian countries as well, and it takes place at the Bucharest-based Intercontinental Hotel, on Nov 8-10.

Romanian Foreign Ministry (MAE) State Secretary for Global Affairs Doru Costea will attend the inaugural edition of the Black Sea Forum on Renewable Energy, in Bucharest, on Tuesday, Nov 9, MAE release informs.

The Forum starts on Monday Nov 8 with the Black Sea Exhibition on Renewable Energy- Distributors Day staged by the Romanian Industry Employers, including the Alliance of Employers Confederations of Romania (ACPR), the Energy Employers Federation (FPEN), the New Energy Sources Association (SUNE), and the Council of Prahova County (south) and is supported by the MAE and the Economy, Trade and Business Environment Ministry.

The event's agenda schedules topics such as the general analysis of the policies on the renewable energy sources (RES) and the framework where these policies are promoted, in the Black Sea area, the identification of the successful examples of good practice regarding the integration of these energies in the regional energy framework.
