Fields leading to the Greek border could be flooded due to increase of the waterflow of river Vardar near Demir Kapija, warned Monday the Crisis Management Center (CMC).
"According to Hydro Meteorological Bureau information, the waterflow quantity has increased to 954m3 per second, which could result in the river flooding when reaching village Udovo and Gevgelija", says CMC.
Several areas in FYRMacedonia were flooded Sunday, with fields, orchards, and houses under water, several bridges have been damaged, along with rockslides at places. Competent institutions undertake measures to reclaim damages.
