The government intends to refer the 2011 state budget law to Parliament on December 7 and will assume responsibility for the Uniform Pay Law on Dec. 14, vice-chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party (PDL, major at rule) Gheorghe Flutur announced on Monday after the meeting of the party's central leadership.

"Tomorrow, [on Dec. 7] the government intends to refer to Parliament the state budget law. Talks are still being held inside the parliamentary groups of the ruling coalition, but the plan is that we hold a government meeting either this evening, or tomorrow in the first part of the day, to approve the 2011 state budget law," said Flutur.

According to the PDL official, the way the state budget was conceived by the government is "credible, feasible, built on a prudent economic growth of 1.5 pct," and envisages the assignment of funding for the co-financing of European projects and investments in infrastructure.

Flutur also said that a decline in the unemployment rate and the stabilization of the euro exchange rate were also taken in consideration in the budget blueprint.

At the same time, the PDL official said that the government will assume responsibility for the Uniform Wage Law on December 14.
