Serbian, Croatian and BiH prosecutors to meet in Bijeljina

The prosecutors of Bosnia- Herzegovina (BiH), Croatia and Serbia will meet Wednesday in Bijeljina (northeastern BiH), in the organization of the UN, to discuss regional cooperation in the domain of war crimes processing, the Sarajevo UN office released.

It is expected that prosecutors Milorad Barasin, Mladen Bajic and Vladimir Vukcevic will examine obstacles to better cooperation, as well as concrete measures for improving the cooperation as regards effective and coordinated processing of all war crimes.
The initiative for the organization of such meeting is in line with the efforts of the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) project dubbed 'Access to Justice: Facing the Past and Building the Confidence for the Future', the statement reads adding that the organization of the meeting was backed by UNDP Resident Representative Yuri Afanasiev.
The talks will be held behind closed doors, after which the participants will hold a press conference, the announcement reads.
