The right-wing Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) will Tuesday at noon begin collecting signatures for the termination of Croatia's negotiations with the EU until the calling of parliamentary elections, as well as the halting of criminal prosecution of Croatian veterans for war crimes and release from prison of all persons so far prosecuted in Croatia.

HSP also requests the abolishment of the Law on Amnesty and a review of its implementation, as well as the raising of indictments against the persons from Serbia responsible for imprisoning Croats in concentration camps.

Other requests include the withdrawal of Croatia's ambassadors from the EU member states to emergency consultations at the Croatian government, the holding of an urgent meeting of the prime minister with the EU member states' ambassadors in Zagreb, and the holding of an urgent session of the UN Security Council to clarify the character of operations Flash and Storm.

HSP also requests the establishment of an investigation commission to determine the responsibility and illegal transfers of transcripts of the Brijuni Islands conversations.

HSP underscores that they decided to launch a petition due to most recent events regarding the "disgraceful Draconian sentences" passed to generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac, who received 24 and 18 years in prison respectively.

These verdicts jeopardized Croatia's sovereignty and constitutional order, HSP pointed out.
