The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy says that August 28 (Sunday) - the Assumption of the Mother of God - is a non-working day for Orthodox faithful in Macedonia in compliance with the Law on Holidays.

Moreover, the ministry also informs that August 30 (Tuesday) - the first day of Ramadan Bajram - is a national holiday in Macedonia.

The Labour Ministry is congratulating the Assumption of the Virgin to members of the Orthodox faith and Ramadan to all Muslims in Macedonia.
