In comparison with other countries in transition, Bosnia and Herzegovina has comparative advantages based on natural resources, geographic position, specific competence of the workforce, touristic potentials and a tradiotion of industrial production.

Concurrent production branches of BH are: the wood industry, tourism, auto industry, energetics and the metal industry.

According to estimation from renowned international institutions, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country which has vastly improved its business climate in comparison to earlier times.

However, obstacles in the investment climate are still available, and there is still a number of issues that need to be solved in order to create better terms for business in BH.

With strong reforms, the passing and implementation of strategic laws and regulations, Bosnia and Herzegovina is vastly improving its business environment and making better terms for foreign and domestic investments.

As a state agency, FIPA is using all of its mechanism to present Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to change the negative image the country has in its surrounding and in the world.
