The Memorial House of Macedonia's late pop star Tose Proeski, designed by the 'Syndicate Studio' is the winner of People's Choice Award - the building of 2011, launched this year within the prestigious World Architecture Festival (WAF) in Barcelona.

Over 15,000 people voted on-line for the Proeski Memorial, which also won the majority of the jury votes.
The Museum of Memory and Tolerance in Mexico City and the 'Atmosphere' building in Kolkata won the second and third place.
A total of 704 buildings, located across the globe, were competing for the award.
WAF is the world's largest, live, inclusive and interactive global architecture event and features the world's biggest architectural contest – The World Architectural Festival Awards.
