PM Berisha departs for a visit to Kingdom of Norway

The Albanian PM will meet the representatives of the big Norwegian businesses that have invested or intend to invest in Albania like Statkraft, Statoil, Hydroplan Green World, Pasco energy, Westcon Technology, Accenture, Alarga and GIEK.

Prime Minister Sali Berisha departed today for a visit to the Kingdom of Norway. PM Berisha is scheduled to hold talks with his Norwegian counterpart Jens Stoltenberg to be followed-up by a joint press conference. Further on, PM Berisha will be granted an audience with Haakon Magnus, Crown Prince of Norway.

Along with appointments with the top Norwegian authorities, the agenda of the prime minister’s visit carries an economic aspect. Therefore, PM Berisha is accompanied on this visit by a delegation of Albanian business representatives, mainly in the field of energy and information technology.

Along with them, PM Berisha will attend the proceedings of the Economic Forum organized by Norwegian associations that represent the hydro-energy businesses and information technology.

The prime minister will address the forum to present the economic developments in Albania, the economic and fiscal reforms of the government of Albania and especially the great potentials that Albania offers as well as the favorable climate for investments in the country.

The prime minister will invite the Norwegian entrepreneurs to invest in Albania and ensure them that their projects will be success stories

. In this context, the prime minister will meet the representatives of the big Norwegian businesses that have invested or intend to invest in Albania like Statkraft, Statoil, Hydroplan Green World, Pasco energy, Westcon Technology, Accenture, Alarga and GIEK.
