The Athens Metro, electric railway and tram service will be holding a work stoppage from 12 noon until 4 in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 22.

However, trains will begin withdrawing from service at least half an hour earlier and the full restoration of service will take place at about 16:30.

The train drivers are protesting the labour reserve status, salary cuts, the abolition of collective labour agreements and agency abolitions and mergers, as well as staff reductions resulting in the inability of transort means to carry out route programmes smoothly and safely.
