Croatia: 4.5 mln people eligible to vote in parliamentary polls

The State Election Commission on Monday received from the Administration Ministry the final list of voters for the December 4 parliamentary election, comprising 4.5 million persons eligible to vote, the Commission told media.

The State Election Commission on Monday received from the Administration Ministry the final list of voters for the December 4 parliamentary election, comprising 4.5 million persons eligible to vote, the Commission told media.

A total of 4,504,081 voters are on the list, including 4,092,323 in Croatia and 411,758 abroad.

According to the Commission's website, the number of registered voters at the last parliamentary election in 2007 was 4,478,386, while at the presidential election in 2009 there were 4,088,798 voters.

According to the June 2011 census, Croatia has a population of 4,290,612.
