Energy sector is stable, citizens will have electricity and they should not be scared, Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry in Government of FBiH Erdal Trhulj stated today at the press conference of Party of Democratic Action.
Production of electricity has been stabilized for the needs of FBiH. There is enough coal in thermal power plant Kakanj for ten days and in thermal power plant "Tuzla" for six to seven days, the Minister said.
Biggest problems were in Neum, Podvelezje and transmission line Mostar II-Mostar I and alternative Jablanica-Mostar I later on.
Employees of Elektroprenos worked on repairing nine transmission line pillars that collapsed in Neum. Fifty transmission line pillars collapsed in Podvelezje due to snow.
The most difficult situation was also in area of Tomislavgrad municipality. The reason was the roads were impassable. People had to go through snow on foot and managed to repair most damages.
Asked how much situation in Mostar is result of lack of functioning of Elektroprenos, Trhulj replied that one cannot say it is a result of lack of functioning of Elektroprenos.
''Wind was blowing 120-130 kilometers per hour in Herzegovina in combination with the snow which directly cause pillars to collapse'', Minister Trhulj said.
