Bulgarian Deputy PM Simeon Djankov and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz discussed in Ankara the bilateral cooperation in the energy sphere.

Minister Yildiz pointed out that an interconnect link for exchange of electricity has been constructed between both states and a similar one may be built up for natural gas transfers from Turkey to Bulgaria.

Mr. Djankov voiced that Turkish citizens with service passports will have the chance to visit this country without visas as of March 2 2012.

Minister Yildiz expressed his special gratitude for the fact that the Bulgarian parliament didn’t adopt a resolution, recognizing the Armenian Genocide, adding that this position fully responded to the good neighboring relations between both countries.
