The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, will visit Turkey on 16 and 17 February 2012 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the accession of Turkey to NATO.

During his visit, the Secretary General will meet President Abdullah Gül and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoğlu, as well as other senior officials. He will also participate in a Joint Meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committees of the Turkish Grand Assembly.

Furthermore, Mr. Rasmussen will deliver an address at a conference organized by the Turkish Atlantic Council.
