U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Patrick Moon has stated that there is not nor has ever been any kind of crisis between Republika Srpska (RS) and the U.S., adding that RS and America have always had positive relations.

In the past, RS authorities did not carry out certain democratic changes, but we would like that to happen with President Milorad Dodik and his government. President Dodik is our partner and a great ally when it comes to resolving the issue of military property, and we have very good relations, Moon told daily EuroBlic, Radio-Television RS reported.

He pointed out that RS is guaranteed as an entity within BiH and that the U.S. fully supports that. Republika Srpska was formed by the Dayton Constitution and the country is not under any threat, he said.
