Austria's Kaufmann Group invests over 435 million Euros in Croatia

City Centre One East, a 130,000 square metre shopping centre in the Croatian capital Zagreb will open its doors on Thursday, reports website monitor.hr.

Austria's Kaufmann Group from Linz has invested 135 million Euros in the project which will see many popular stores and a Cineplexx cinema open in the centre. Over 1,800 jobs were created with the building of the mall. The Austrian group also owns City Centre One West in Zagreb and City Centre in the Dalamtian city of Split, taking their total investment in Croatia to over 435 million Euros.

The new centre which opens on Thursday is currently 85 per cent occupied with 78 partners involved. The group's three malls have created over 5,300 jobs in Croatia.
