PM Gruevski to pay a five-day visit to China

Significantly important political and economic five-day visit of the Macedonian delegation to China where Macedonia’s investment opportunities will be presented before Chinese businessmen in several cities has been announced Saturday by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski after putting into operation the local road Taor-Rzanicino.

Significantly important political and economic five-day visit of the Macedonian delegation to China where Macedonia’s investment opportunities will be presented before Chinese businessmen in several cities has been announced Saturday by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski after putting into operation the local road Taor-Rzanicino.

Gruevski is scheduled to meet Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao whereat good political relations between two countries is to be confirmed once again and talks will also focus on improvement of economic relations.

- It is good that China has strong political support for investment in Macedonia and this was confirmed by the Prime Minister Wen Jiabao two and half weeks ago, and the new meeting will mean serious sending a message to Chinese companies which are interested to open own capacities in Europe that Macedonia is destination where they can find good conditions for doing business and that Macedonia is a friendly state to China, PM Gruevski said.

Besides meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, Gruevski also announced meetings with local authorities in different regions because, as he underlined, it is good they to send signal to their politicians, companies and businessmen. He will also meet with officials of Chinese companies besides presentations of business conditions in Macedonia and access of Macedonia to European market as a market, which has free trade, and from Macedonia 650 million consumer market can be covered.

As Gruevski said the visit to People’s Republic of China will be focused on attracting investments aimed at job creation.
