Johnsen: Investments in Serbia are risky

Even today, there are many obstacles for foreign investors in Serbia, the Head of the Council of Foreign Investors in Serbia and Telenor CEO, Kjell-Morten Johnsen said.

Among obstacles, he names high investment risks, inconsistency of the tax policy, but also the position of workers, which is very important to investors. According to Johnsen, during crisis, companies are more cautious and less willing to enter risky investments.

The decision to invest in Serbia is made even more difficult since Serbia is not among the EU member states and is therefore treated as high-risk country, and the market is still in transition.
