France helps Kosovo to become part of the European civil aviation

Government of France, through the European Commission, has decided to help Kosovo to meet all criteria of the Agreement on the European common space aviation (ECAA).

Government of France, through the European Commission, has decided to help Kosovo to meet all criteria of the Agreement on the European common space aviation (ECAA).

In view of this, Kosovo has signed an agreement for twining the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of France.

Agreement on common European space aviation (ECAA) requires integration of all air space of Western Balkan countries and all countries should implement gradually Aviation legislation of the European Community, in order to integrate later fully in the European Community aviation internal market.

Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Fatmir Limaj said that the Republic of Kosovo has taken over all international obligations, including those signed by UNMIK, as well as the agreement on common European space aviation (ECAA).
