Serbian President Boris Tadic met with Libyan President Muammar al-Gadaffi in his summer residence in Sirte on Saturday.
This is the second time in less than a year that President Gaddafi hosts President Tadic during his one-day visit to Libya, one of the richest African countries and one of the most influential countries in the Arab world.
During his visit to Tripoli last September, on the occasion of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Libyan Revolution, the Libyan president awarded President Tadic with a medal.
Gadaffi met Tadic in front of his summer residence in Sirte, while the Serbian president was greeted with state honors at the airport by Libyan Prime Minister al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmudi, Foreign Minister Musa Kusa and other senior officials.
