Boris Tadic, the Serbian president, says he want to take Serbia into the European Union.He says he wants to move on from the dark and bloody period of the break-up of the former Yugoslavia.

Boris Tadic, the Serbian president, says he want to take Serbia into the European Union.He says he wants to move on from the dark and bloody period of the break-up of the former Yugoslavia.

Recently, the Serbian parliament passed a motion condemning the massacre of Bosnian Muslims by ethnic Serbs in Srebrenica in 1995.

Tadic says the parliamentary declaration was an important moment in Serbia coming to terms with its past.

Tadic talks about Serbia's difficult history and the massacre in Srebrenica, aswell as about division and reconciliation.

He also talks about Ratko Mladic, the political situation in Bosnia, and joining the European Union.
