Representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Defense and European Command of US Armed Forces have signed in Belgrade the plan of bilateral cooperation for 2011.
Representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Defense and European Command of US Armed Forces have signed in Belgrade the plan of bilateral cooperation for 2011.
Main aspects of that document are the continuation of education and training of Serbian Army members in USA, as well as the modernization of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense.
The plan also envisages the continuation of activities in the strategic partnership with the Ohio National Guard, which entails the organization of joint drills and training of Serbian soldiers for the participation in peace missions.
The signing was preceded by the Conference for planning and activities, attended by representatives of Pentagon, European Command, Ohio National Guard and Office of Defense Cooperation on behalf of USA, and all structures of the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Army General Staff on behalf of Serbia.
