Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic will visit Batocina on 27 August.
They will visit Grah Automotive Company in Batocina which employs 170 workers and plans to expand their existing capacity.
The new investment project will create 400 new jobs. Contracts for the first 20 employees will be awarded on the occasion.
Through an incentive programme for direct investment, implemented by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) Grah Automotive received €1.6 million, ie €4,000 for each newly opened position.
The construction of a new production plant area of 4,500 square metres, the total value of which is €11.2 million, is underway. The completion of works on building a new facility is scheduled for early October.
Programme of the visit:
10.00 – Meeting with the leadership of the municipality of Batocina, Kralja Petra I 37 (cameramen and photographers shall be allowed to record the meeting).
10.30 – Meeting with the leadership of Grah Automotive, Batocina, Kralja Milana Obrenovica bb (cameramen and photographers will be allowed to record the beginning of meetings).
11.00 – Awarding of contracts, tour of factory and giving statements to the media.
At 14.15, Dinkic and a delegation of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development will visit the industrial zone in Velika Plana and Deama company, Oraska 43, Velika Plana.
