The Serbian Ministry of Justice stated today that it is organising a conference called “The fight against organised crime and corruption in the Balkans” that will be held in Brussels on 28 October.

The Serbian Ministry of Justice stated today that it is organising a conference called “The fight against organised crime and corruption in the Balkans” that will be held in Brussels on 28 October.

Participants in the event will be addressed by Minister of Justice Snezana Malovic, EU officials and representatives of the countries in the region.

The conference will look at the results achieved by the countries in the region in the fight against organised crime and corruption and further measures and activities that are to be taken.

The implementation of regulations in the fight against organised crime and corruption will also be discussed, with special emphasis on the influence of corruption on foreign investment in the region.

The conference is being organised in association with the Friends of Europe, with the support of Gallup Europe and the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, reads the statement.
