EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Catherin Ashton stated that the date when the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue should commence and the agenda of the talks should be determined by Serbian President Boris Tadic and Kosovo PM Hasim Taci.

However, they are still not ready to do so, said Ashton answering the question of MPs in the European Parliament Committee for Foreign Affairs.

As for the agenda, we are interested in the practical topics that will improve everyday life of citizens. How far we will come and what topics we will tackle depend on what we will accomplish at the beginning of the dialogue, said Ashton.
