Serbian President Boris Tadic extended congratulations to members of the Military Security Agency on the occasion of their day, November 12, pointing that following the system reforms, the agency has grown into a modern service fully prepared to fight modern security threats.

Serbian President Boris Tadic extended congratulations to members of the Military Security Agency on the occasion of their day, November 12, pointing that following the system reforms, the agency has grown into a modern service fully prepared to fight modern security threats.

Tadic pointed out that members of the Agency showed that professionalism, responsibility and expertise are a basis to fulfill the goals.

With maximum efforts in determined opposition to organized crime and corruption, as well as your work on security and counterintelligence protection of the Army and the Ministry of Defense, you have contributed to protection of Serbia’s national interests, said the President

. The Military Security Agency Day was set in memory of November 12, 1839, when the first Military Law of Serbia was adopted as an act that completely defined security issues of armed forces’ protection.
