Serbia's Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic said Monday that the Tornik ski slopes on Zlatibor, western Serbia, will always have enough snow starting from New Year, after the installation of snowmaking equipment worth EUR 3 million.

Dinkic visited the worksite and stated that Tornik would focus on getting more tourists over the summer, which should be achieved by creating tracks for mountain bikes and allowing bikers the use of ski lifts.

Three years ago, Tornik got the first six-seat ski lift in Serbia. It also has a special sled track that is open in both summer and winter, which is the only facility of that kind in the country.
