Dacic: SPS growing stronger with faith in progress of Serbia

President of the Socialist Party Ivica Dacic says that party has managed to preserve the ideology, overcome the difficulties and grow stronger with faith in the progress of Serbia.

President of the Socialist Party Ivica Dacic says that party has managed to preserve the ideology, overcome the difficulties and grow stronger with faith in the progress of Serbia.

While opening the 8th Congress of the Socialist Party, Dacic has stated that the goal of this gathering is an all-encompassing reform of the party in order to make it stronger.

He has pointed that socialists have had dynamic history, and two decades after the founding the party is able to look the entire Serbia in the eyes, because it is an authentic people’s party.

The congress in the Seava Center is also attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic, who also the leader of the Democratic Party, US Ambassador Marry Warlick, Russian Ambassador Alexander Konuzin, German Ambassador Wolfram Maas and leader of the Social Democratic Party, Minister of Labor Rasim Ljajic.
