Minister of Education and Science Zarko Obradovic will speak at the opening of the two-day expert meeting “Promotion of the Roma rights to quality education” on 17 October at 10.00 at Aeroklub, Uzun Mirkova 4.

Minister of Education and Science Zarko Obradovic will speak at the opening of the two-day expert meeting “Promotion of the Roma rights to quality education” on 17 October at 10.00 at Aeroklub, Uzun Mirkova 4.

Director of the national Committee for Cooperation with UNESCO Trivo Indjic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government Slavica Denic, and UNESCO expert Rosanna Santesso will give speech at the opening ceremony of the meeting organized by the Ministry of Education and Science and UNESCO.

Experts from Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Serbia, as well as the representatives of the European Council, the Roma Education Fond, the Roma National Council, the University of Belgrade, non-government sector, research institutes, and other relevant experts will attend the meeting.

The attendants will share their experience regarding the Roma education and identify possible areas of cooperation and promotion of quality education for the Roma population.
