Jat Airways will send two planes Thursday to bring back Serbian tourists who were evicted from their hotel rooms in Hurghada, Egypt, due to a dispute between a Serbian and an Egyptian travel agency.

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic gave the authorization to send two planes belonging to the national airline to collect the tourists, his office confirmed for Tanjug on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed Tanjug the planes will take off some time today.

A group of 238 tourists, including families with small children, was kicked out their hotel rooms Tuesday on account of problems between Egyptian agency Bright Sky and its partner agency in Serbia, United Travel. The latter failed to settle its debts to the Egyptians.

The Serbian Embassy in Egypt told Tanjug Wednesday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all competent state institutions in Serbia have been informed that the Embassy is in touch with the tourists in Hurghada and is working to solve the problem.

The tourists will be allowed to stay in their rooms until their return.
