Members of KFOR destroyed around midnight a hand grenade found in a parking lot near the police station in Zubin Potok, northern Kosovo.

According to the police, the bomb was thrown late Sunday, around 10 pm, but, fortunately, it did not go off.

KFOR's special unit neutralized the explosive device 15 minutes after midnight, and the detonation rattled windows on the nearby houses.

The police told Tanjug that the motive for the attempted bomb attack is still unknown, as well as who is responsible.
