First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic attended the opening of the road M22.1 from Indjija to Novi Sad, which was completed a month and a half before the announced deadline.

Dacic pointed out that the cost of the road is over €4 million, adding that the reconstruction of the 80-year-old road started on 25 August.

This section is very important and will serve as an alternative within the plans for the Corridor 10.

The Road Directorate and the government of Serbia and Vojvodina will focus on alternative roads in the future, said Dacic, adding that this is the best example how Corridor 10 can be used.

This road is now completely rebuilt and expanded by two metres, he said.
