A Serbian delegation has presented the country's investment potential at the French Chamber of Commerce in Paris and French companies showed particular interest in agriculture, processing and pharmaceutical industries and infrastructure, Serbia's Minister of Economy Nebojsa Ciric told Tanjug on Tuesday.

Over 50 French companies were present at the meeting. The Serbian delegation presented the potential for investment in Serbia and for the two countries' economic cooperation, Ciric noted. He is going to attend a ministerial conference of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris.

According to him, the meeting was also attended by some French companies that are already present in Serbia and are Serbia's best promoters in France.

The interest in investments in Serbia is related to infrastructure, especially the railway, but also to agriculture, processing and pharmaceutical industries, said the minister, adding that during his visit he would meet with individual companies and organizations interested in investing in Serbia.

The Serbian delegation will also present Serbia's potential concerning the automotive industry. The presentation is expected to attract tens of companies.
