On Dec. 1, the round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina, which was started a day earlier, continue in Brussels.

The chief of the Serbian negotiating team, Borislav Stefanovic, stated ahead of the resumption of the talks that there is a chance for reaching an agreement on traffic at the administrative crossings, but that this primarily depends on the other side, which has so far presented only maximal demands.

He stated that Belgrade remains fully dedicated to dialogue, but that the solution must envisage that the administrative line remains an administrative one "without so-called state markings" which Pristina is insisting on.

The chief of the Pristina team, Edita Tahiri, also told reporters in Brussels that "there are prospects," but that it will still be "very difficult" for an agreement to be reached on "integrated border management" about which Pristina has a positive stand.

She said that Serbia is putting up obstacles to the "equal regional representation of Pristina" and added that, after several months of dialogue, there are agreements only on paper and little is being implemented, claiming that Belgrade is responsible for that.
