A meeting between Zubin Potok Municipal President Slavisa Ristic and KFOR representatives kicked off in Zubin Potok on Friday morning about 10 a.m. tabling the situation in the village of Jagnjenica where KFOR put down a barricade four days ago, after which Serbs set up new ones.

In Jagnjenica, Serbs still hold KFOR in partial blockage. After the removal of the Jagnjenica barricade, KFOR blocked the road between Zubin Potok and Zvecan, but the locals managed to build a bypass.

Since the removal of the barricade, KFOR has insisted on establishment of a control checkpoint in Jagnjenica.

Four north Kosovo municipal presidents are to hold consultations on Friday, which should be followed by an announcement of a joint session of the municipalities of Leposavic, Zvecan, Kosovska Mitrovica and Zubin Potok.

At the session, the members should state their opinions regarding the official Belgrade's call on Serbs to remove the barricades set in northern Kosovo.

It has been three days since Belgrade called on Kosovo Serbs to remove the roadblocks, and that has not been done yet.
KFOR warned late on Thursday that KFOR will remove the roadblocks in northern Kosovo if Serbs fail to do so.

KFOR spokesman Uwe Nowitzki stated that the only solution lies in providing guarantees of unconditional freedom of movement for all, including KFOR, and added that if this does not happen, KFOR will behave as it did in the past, and if need be, the mission will remove roadblocks on its own.

A total of 30 KFOR members and several dozen Serbs were injured in the riot that occurred in Jagnjenica on Monday.
