Kosovo's government announced Saturday that the agreement on integrated border management reached in Brussels is in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo, the Treaty of Lisbon, the law and the EU criteria.
This agreement is related to cooperation between the two states, in accordance with European inter-state border management, and its acceptance means that Serbia has practically recognized the inter-state border with Kosovo, the statement says.
It was pointed out in Pristina that the latest round of dialogue in Brussels resulted in progress in regard to implementation of agreements reached in previous rounds.
According to the Kosovo government, implementation of the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina on civil registers will begin on Monday December 5, and the agreement on freedom of movement on December 26.
The statement of Kosovo's government also says that the latest round of dialogue did not result in solutions to issues of regional cooperation, telecommunications and energy, because the Serbian side attempted to propose solutions that are not consistent with reality in Kosovo and are contrary to European principles.
