Decision on Serbia likely on Friday

Hungarian Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi told Tanjug Monday evening that the foreign ministers of the EU are still discussing the candidate status for Serbia, but that the decision is likely to be made at the EU Council on Friday.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi told Tanjug Monday evening that the foreign ministers of the EU are still discussing the candidate status for Serbia, but that the decision is likely to be made at the EU Council on Friday.

Discussion is still underway. A consensus is still possible this evening, but it is more likely that the decision will be made by the EU Council, Martonyi said during a break in the session of EU ministers.
