Dinar up by 0.1 percent, rate at RSD 106 per euro

The Serbian dinar strengthened by 12 paras or 0.1 percent on Tuesday, thus setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 106.0620, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released.

On a monthly basis, the dinar will weaken against the euro by 1.3 percent and on an annual basis by 1.4 percent, the NBS release reads.

In 2012, the dinar hit its highest level against the single European currency on January 11 when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 103.6922 and the lowest on Monday, January 30, when the rate was RSD 106.1874.

On Monday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate stood at RSD 80.9016, reflecting a drop of USD 1 and 0.4 percent in comparison to Friday.

On a monthly basis, the dinar has not changed against the U.S. dollar, whereas on an annual level it dropped by 5.1 percent, the NBS release reads.
