Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic announced today in Trstenik the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Italian company Usco.

Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic announced today in Trstenik the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Italian company Usco.

At the 63rd anniversary of Prva Petoletka, Kalanovic said that the Serbian government yesterday approved the memorandum in accordance with which the Italian company will open a plant within Petoletka’s microelectronics facilities.

She also announced the signing of an agreement with representatives of the Italian company.

This will be a completely new factory, said Kalanovic and expressed hope that the two companies will be important partners and will appear together on other markets.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that without a developed metal complex no serious economic development of Serbia is possible.

One of the pillars of recovery of metal complex in Serbia will be Prva Petoletka’s recovery, she noted.

Prva Petoletka employs approximately 3,000 people and has 15 companies in its structure.
