The 11th All-Russia Bank Forum is opening in Nizhny Novgorod on Thursday. Its main topic is “Prospects of the bank system in Russia: model of post-crisis development.”
The 11th All-Russia Bank Forum is opening in Nizhny Novgorod on Thursday. Its main topic is “Prospects of the bank system in Russia: model of post-crisis development.”
“The forum’s topic reflects the most acute problem of development of the native bank sector in modern global economic conditions,” a representative of the forum organizing committee said. The bank forum is to pool efforts of representatives of power bodies and financial agencies in order to strengthen positions of the Russian bank system.
Some 100 bankers, financiers and representatives of state agencies and power bodies from Moscow, the Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Saransk, Murmansk, Orenburg and Saratov, as well as representatives of the Italian and Kazakh banks working in Russia will attend the bank forum.
The forum participants will consider consequences of the world financial crisis for the bank system, measures to resume the growing demand for bank services, topical legal aspects of crediting, the strategy of development of regional banks, as well as analyse problems of (bad) assets and problems of forming long-term resources.
Over more than ten years of work, the Bank Forum became one of the most effective means of working out ways of development of economy, carrying out a dialogue between the state business and searching for solutions of the most topical modern problems in the sphere of finances.
