I would suppose ceasefire and peace talks should take course with immediate effect to save the innocent blood sheds. Keep watch for positive effects.

Why was the mediation not offerred when the UN Security Council took the first initiative and called for a cease fire? Maybe Russia had thought the UN mission would be a failure. Now I suggest Russia should assist him to leave Libya for peace to reign.

thumbs up Russia, I agree millitary intervention is not what the world want for Lybia. America should understand that there are better ways of engaging warring parties. We know for sure that for the Americans is not about anything else but oil and power. Sad!

We have had a lot of conflicts around the world but I have not so much heard of a Russian mediation, why not Somalia, Ivory cost Sudan and the like, why come out at the last hour, Enough is enough Gaddaffie should go, and the AFrican union should first get dictaters out of the way the likes of Museveni,Mugabe etc

Russia has some bussiness deals with Gadaffi. Why didn't they advice Gadaffi to stop killing innocent civilians. He has ruled for 40yrs and deserve to die in the interest of peace. It is either he lives the country or die. No more, no less.
