The prosecution in Florida has communicated that US citizens Samir Osmakac, originally from Kosmet, is indicted for the intention of using the weapons of mass destruction, as part of the conspiracy of Islamic extremists, reports the Associated Press.

Osmakas was arrested by federal agents on January 7, while purchasing explosive devices and firearms from an undercover agent. He is also charged with the possession of unlicensed machine gun.

The authorities say that Osmakac was planning to use the automobile-bomb and other weapons in the conspiracy inspired by Islam in various locations around Tampa.

A high Kosmet official has stated that during his visit there last month, Osmakac had met with radical Islamists.
