This review is for belrentacar, located at Vladimira Popovica 10 hotel Crown plaza as this business goes by renta car beograd. Worest experience we ever had renting a car in Europe. Booked a car a month or so in advance with Danijel, he assured us that we are getting VW golf, sent us a picture of the vehicle we are getting, he even checked in couple of days in advance to make sure we are all good, well that’s all of the good costumer experience we dver got. When we arrived we were met by guy named Mladen who was sorry to infome us that our car won’t be ready for couple of days which turned in to 5 but he had different car we can use in the mean time, not even asking if we are planning on staying in Srbia for the next few days. Car was horrible old bmw no AC shaking at higher speeds, breaks we less than 20% all in all junk. Car was more than 10 years old which is against the law to be rented. Golf came in after 5 days strangly smelling like fuel, dirty coffee and ice cream cups in the doors, same thing more than 10 years old falling apart, all of the lights on the dashboard were on, check engine light, airbag light, even electric injunction light. Cars are not only mechanically unsafe but, these cars are registered on privete or other businesses, you will never recive recept required by law in Srbia, they are just avoiding paying taxes required by law. When our car broke down in montenegro Danijel never picked up a phone, was just texting us. Car was leaking fuel so badly we lost almost full tank of fuel just to move to safe location. Good thing it didn’t set on fire. They didn’t even offer finding a towing for us, they just gave us s mechanics name 20 km away and were like find s towing by yourself. All the time we were talking to some guy named Nikola who was Danijel’s side kick or something. It took them 3 days to fix the car, we were on our own, with a 5 month old baby horrible experience. They never offer renting us a new vehicle, on the end we were never compensated for the days we lost. These guys are nothing but scam, don’t use them at all. His vehicles are falling apart, our friend and best man had to return their vehicles early as they were scared to use them for traveling out of the Belgrade. Be smart don’t support their business.

These people are seriously dodgy and dangerous. The person our family spoke with was bordering on a wannabe gangster. I truly believe this is some form of money laundering business as there is no way this company would survive anywhere else. Cars are bad and dangerous and customer service is obscene, I believe all the positive reviews for this company are false. Terrible terrible experience- go with a certified qualified vehicle rental company, not with these crooks.

It was a great experience, and we will be very happy to use this service again. The staff were very helpful and provided useful tips and a great service. The car was nice and well maintained. everything on checking was nice and clear and fast as well. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I wouldn't recommend this company. Just like the other reviews cars are old and very damaged. Car had a engine light on, indicator faulty light on, empty tyres lights flashing, faulty fuel gauge, tyres had bubbles. Aircon wasnt blowing cool air had to re gas my self in a different county. Also they demand cash payments to avoid tax by the looks of it. They won't accept credit card as they know you'd be able to charge back from the credit card company and they wouldn't make any $. I was given a car with 250.000km I had to stop first station to fill fuel and air Horrible experience. Go with a reputable company it's just not worth the hassle, Lesson learnt.

Warning- keep away from this rental company. Very bad experience, we are just lucky that nobody was hurt. Something is very very wrong and illegal with this firm. Rented a Porsche Cayenne- paid upfront- no contract given, no receipt. The car was empty on fuel- had to find a petrol station immediately. We then realised back doors couldn’t be opened, were faulty, car was damaged and then when we saw the tyres we were in shock. Bald and unroadworthy. The tyre exploded, we paid to put 4 tyres on- we had a wedding to travel to. Owner was overseas, refused assistance, was extremely rude and unprofessional. No reserve tyre, no emergency kit, nothing. We are 500euros out of pocket but thankful it wasn’t mire serious. Have spoken to a lawyer about lodging a formal complaint as the car should not be on the road and this firm should not be allowed to exist. It’s dangerous and somebody could be seriously injured. Keep well away.
