International Labor Organization (ILO) organizes June 30-July 1 in Ohrid a regional tripartite conference on topic "Role of Economic-Social Councils in Time of Crisis".
International Labor Organization (ILO) organizes June 30-July 1 in Ohrid a regional tripartite conference on topic "Role of Economic-Social Councils in Time of Crisis".
The conference brings together delegations from 11 countries, led by labor ministers or state secretaries, along with leaders of trade unions and employers' organizations.
The conference aims at exchanging experiences and good practices regarding the structure and functioning of most important institutions of the tripartite social dialogue, i.e. economic-social councils.
Three panel-sessions will be held, focusing on the challenges of social dialogue, role of social-economic councils in time of crisis and gender balance in bodies of the tripartite social dialogue.
Minister of Labor and Social Policy Xhelal Bajrami and ILO director for Central and Eastern Europe, Mark Levin will deliver the opening addresses
