A cornerstone laying ceremony for a 33m-high cross that is to be erected in honor of Macedonia's pop star Tose Proeski took place Wednesday near the "St. Preobrazenie" monastery in Krusevo.

The cross - a donation of the Fakom company - is to be dedicated on October 16 - the day when Proeski was killed in Croatia three years ago.

One of Tose's wishes is becoming reality, the star's uncle Anastas said, extending gratitude for the donation.
