Wines produced by Ezimit wine cellar from Stip were presented over the weekend at an event held in St. Clement of Ohrid church in Toronto.

Several types of wine were presented before about 100 visitors. Ezimit is very likely to obtain a licence to sell its wines on the market in Canada.

Speaking at the ceremony, Andy Plukov - an authorised representative to import Ezimit wines in Canada - said the effort made Macedonian wines to be sold in Canada was a huge success not only for the company, but also for Macedonia, since wine production was one of the main export branches in the country.

Ezimit owner Zoranco Mitrovski at the event said the wine was made in a traditional way but with modern technology in line with modern trends in winemaking.

According to Mitrovski, the wine cellar was proclaimed the fourth most contemporary wine cellar in Europe, exporting over 5 million bottles of wine in 35 countries thus being the biggest exporter of wine from Macedonia.
