Bulgaria joins Via Carpathia international project

Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Transport, Kamen Kichev, has signed in Poland the Via Carpathia declaration for continuing the shortest transit route connecting Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece.
Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Transport, Kamen Kichev, has signed in Poland the Via Carpathia declaration for continuing the shortest transit route connecting Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece.
The signing of the document has officially started the works on the part of the route in Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece.
The route is planned to stimulate the transport links between Baltic and the Black Sea. The aim is to develop the road infrastructure of the region and include it in the Trans-European transport network, which would boost economic development.
