"Before the Rain" of Mancevski in Ukraine, Taiwan

.On occasion of the festival's 40th anniversary, "Before the Rain" will be projected within the selection of best films shown in the festival's history. Director Mancevski is set to attend the projection.

Film "Before the Rain" of Milco Mancevski will be screened today the international film festival "Molodist" in Kiev, Ukraine.

On occasion of the festival's 40th anniversary, "Before the Rain" will be projected within the selection of best films shown in the festival's history. Director Mancevski is set to attend the projection.

The movie will also be screened in Taiwan, upon an invitation from the "Club of Thinkers" at the Hsinchu University. The club organizes monthly seminars encouraging dialogue, debate and exchange of ideas among students. Each seminar begins with a selected film from the global cinematographic heritage, which is considered to have strong effect on the topic of discussion. The first seminar for this year is on theme "Global Perspectives of Ethnic Conflict", opening with Mancevski's film.

"Before the Rain" won the Venice festival "Golden Lion", an Oscar nomination, along with 30 other recognitions. "New York Times" put it in the list of 1,000 best films of all times.
