The national road linking the city and the border with Montenegro was cut on Wednesday, while 40 houses are under water. Heavy rains have been pouring over the region for two days.

Floods hit northern Albania , forcing authorities to evacuate a village and call for further precaution measures.

The national road linking the city and the border with Montenegro was cut on Wednesday, while 40 houses are under water. Heavy rains have been pouring over the region for two days.

The Shkodra region has been hit by floods several times in the past year.
